  • Sheets and plates: wooden pallet with waterproof paper, PVC film and steel strapping — seaworthy and fumigation-free.
  • Coils and strips: eye to sky or eye to wall, wrapped with waterproof paper, plastic film and steel bands.
  • Pipes and tubes: hexagonal or square bundles, end caps on both ends, woven bag and steel strapping.
  • Bars: tied bundles or wooden crates for small quantities and precision parts.

Delivery

  • Stock items: 7-10 days after order confirmation.
  • Cut-to-size and custom processing: 12-15 days depending on quantity and surface finish.

How to Choose & How to Handle

Five decisions cover most orders. If any of them is unclear, send us the drawing or the application and we will narrow it down.

How to choose the right grade and size

  1. 1Grade. 304 for general fabrication, 316L for marine, chemical or coastal service, 201 for cost-sensitive indoor work, 430 for appliances and trim. Grade comparison →
  2. 2Thickness. 0.3–200 mm. Cold rolled covers 0.3–3.0 mm at ±0.02 mm; above that we supply hot rolled and pickled.
  3. 3Surface. 2B is the default for fabrication, BA for bright decorative work, No.4 for brushed visible faces, HL for hairline, 8K for mirror.
  4. 4Size. Mill standards are 1219×2438 and 1500×3000 mm. Anything else is cut to size, with no extra lead time on stock items.
  5. 5Documents. Every shipment carries EN 10204 3.1 MTC. Ask for SGS / BV / Intertek pre-shipment inspection if your project requires it.

Handling, cutting and storage

  • Store indoors on timber battens, never directly on concrete. Keep away from chlorides, acids and salt spray.
  • Cut clean. Plasma, laser or waterjet. Never use tooling that has cut carbon steel without cleaning it first — iron contamination rusts.
  • Weld matched. 308L filler for 304, 316L for 316L. Keep interpass temperature low and passivate the weld zone afterwards.
  • Protect faces. Visible surfaces ship with PVC film. Remove it within six months and never leave it in direct sun.
  • Lift, don't drag. Use suction lifters or a spreader beam. Dragging scores the finish and edges.
  • Check on arrival. Photograph packing before unloading. Report transit damage within 7 days so we can claim with the carrier.
